James’s career has seen him leading production teams from concept to delivery and working with stakeholders at board level to deliver proven measurable results.
As trained facilitator, he has lead negotiations, run workshops and analyzed the results that come out of them to better meet business goals. These skills also prove invaluable when leading teams of creative people and when promoting organizational change. They enable him to open the minds of others to new business opportunities.
His passion for new ideas make him ideal for leading brainstorming and idea generation activities. He has effective, proven techniques for accelerating the pace and raising the quality of output from the the idea generation process.
James moved to London in 2000 and worked as a freelance digital marketing consultant for brands such as Fox films Diesel, Sony and Becks. In 2004 he founded Definition a digital marketing agency. in 2006 Definition was bought as a going concern by Razorfish and as a result James became an integral part of the management team there. During this time he worked for clients including MFI, JP Morgan, Samsonite and the NSPCC. When Razorfish were in turn bought out by Microsoft in 2008 he departed to become Associate Technical Director for Dare. After two years working on core Dare accounts such as Sony Ericsson and BMW he left to join R/GA as Technical Director. After a short time in that role took up the position if CTO at one of the UKs fastest growing digital agencies Skive.
